ملاحظات حول مشروع القانون المتعلق بالعاملين في الخدمة المنزلية
بمناسبة عيد العمّال، تتقدم الجمعيات التالية: منظمة كفى عنف واستغلال، إنسان، PCAAM (اللجنة الرعوية للمهاجرين الأفرو-آسيويين)، منظمة العفو الدولية، نسويّة وحركة مناهضة العنصرية؛ بالتحية إلى جميع العمّال/العاملات المقيمين/ات في لبنان، مخصّصين التفاتتنا في هذا اليوم إلى فئة من هؤلاء، لم ترتق بعد في تصنيفات الحكومة اللبنانية إلى مستوى فئة العمّال.

Launching Event of the Regional Campaign on Lifting the Reservations on Article 16 in CEDAW
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, KAFA (enough) Violence & Exploitation launched a Regional Lobbying and Media Campaign on Lifting the Reservations on Article 16 of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), addressing equality between men and women in marriage and family life. The campaign, which was launched today at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the presence of the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Lebanon, Ambassador Angelina Eichhorst, and MP Ghassan Moukheiber, Rapporteur of the Parliamentary Human Rights Commission, is part of a larger regional project entitled "CEDAW from Theory to Practice". This project is funded by the European Union and implemented by KAFA in cooperation with the Arab Women Organisation in Jordan and the Syrian Women's League.

اختتمت منظمة كفى عنف واستغلال والتحالف الوطني لتشريع حماية النساء من العنف الاسري، بالشراكة مع وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية، اليوم الجمعة في 10 كانون الاول 2010، حملة ال16 يوما الوطنية لمناهضة العنف ضد المرأة، والتي كانت تحت عنوان: نساء ورجالا: شركاء لانهاء العنف ضد النساء".

Launch and distribution of the study “Servant, Daughter or Employee? A Pilot Study on the Attitudes of Lebanese Employers towards Migrant Domestic Workers”
As part of the project: “Stop the Exploitation of Migrant Domestic Workers”, in partnership with the Danish Refugee Council and KVINFO, KAFA (enough) Violence and Exploitation, launched a study entitled “Servant, Daughter or Employee? A Pilot Study on the Attitudes of Lebanese Employers towards Migrant Domestic Workers” under the patronage of His Excellency Minister of Labor Sheikh Boutros Harb. The event took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Beirut, on Wednesday, June 23rd of 2010.

مشاركة كفى في مؤتمر صندوق الأمم المتحدة: ضرورة استھداف الرجل للقضاء على العنف ضد المرأة في العالم العربي
عشية الاحتفال باليوم العالمي للقضاء على العنف ضد المرأة، شاركت منظمة كفى عنف واستغلال في المؤتمر الصحافي الذي نظّمه صندوق الأمم المتحدة بحضور الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة بان كي-مون. يتزامن هذا المؤتمر مع إطلاق الأمين العام لشبكة من القادة الرجال الذين سيعملون من أجل إلهام الرجال في كل مكان للمساعدة على وضع حدّ للعنف ضد المرأة.
